TroopTrack Membership Upload

If you know of any troops, crews or packs who are still using TroopTrack™, please let them know that they will get a warm welcome at TroopWebHost!

We are developing a suite of migration tools to easily move much of their data into a new TroopWebHost site.

The first two programs are already in place.  They allow you to move membership data using files that can be generated from TroopTrack.

• Upload TroopTrack Users will add their complete roster to TroopWebHost, while generating user IDs and passwords for everyone.
• Upload TroopTrack Member Details will update those membership records with driver license, medical information and Order of the Arrow dates.

Next month we'll add the ability to transfer advancement and participation history.

My Stuff Hubs For Cub Scouts & Girl Scouts

Last month we announced new "My Stuff Hub" pages for scouts and adults.  Those pages are now available for Cub Scout (TroopWebHostCS) sites and Girl Scout (TroopWebHostGS) sites!

Both hubs allow the user to update their contact information and view their account balance.  The My Stuff hub for scouts allows them to view their advancement information and fundraisers.  The My Stuff hub for adults allows them to view their scout's information.

ScoutBook Scout Upload

A troop that recently migrated from ScoutBook to TroopWebHost discovered that the Scout file they exported from ScoutBook was missing the gender of each scout, so they had to manually enter it after the fact.

When we found out about this, we added a default value so future troops won't have this same problem.

Fundraiser Available Inventory

If you are tracking your inventory in a Sales fundraiser, the system now accurately computes the number of units available yet for sale.  The new "Available" column subtracts any items that have been sold, regardless of whether they have been delivered.

This is displayed on the public order form at ScoutSales.org, as shown below.  It also appears on the Inventory Summary Report.

New Widgets

This feature is not applicable to Cub Scout and Girl Scout sites.

We created several new widgets.  The first two allow you to tailor your Membership Hub to separate the girl troop members from boy troop members.  Another widget lists scout leadership without photos.

Reset Reminder Status

It's bound to happen:  you need to reschedule an event after the reminder e-mail has already been generated.  How do you get the system to send a new reminder with the new date?

Previously, you'd have to enter a Support Ticket so we could clear out the hidden fields that control this function.  Not anymore!  If the event reminder has already been sent - and the event is still in the future - you will see a button appear on the Event Details tab that will allow a new reminder to go out.
