My Stuff Hub (Scout)
You'll find this new page at My Stuff → My Stuff Hub (Scout).
Last year we added "hub pages" to TroopWebHost, which provided an easy way to access all of the functionality of a TroopWebHost subsystem from one page.
The first set of hubs, which were intended for unit leaders, included:
This month we added two new hubs for scouts and their parents:
Both may be found at the top of the My Stuff menu. Users who were authorized for the My Personal Information - Adult page will see the My Stuff Hub for adults. Users who were authorized for the My Personal Information - Scout page will see the My Stuff Hub for scouts.
Access to these pages is controlled by two new security tasks: "My Stuff (Adult) Hub" and "My Stuff (Scout) Hub". Site administrators were given access to both tasks.
This feature will be added next month for Cub Scout and Girl Scout sites.
Hubs are constructed from two types of widget:

Just as you do with your Home page or any custom page, you can delete widgets you don't need or replace them with other widgets that are more suitable for your troop. You can even move them around the page. This page of the User Guide shows how you can edit your hub.
To begin, first select the hub you wish to edit from the main menu. Then select "Edit This Page" from the tools menu.
You can then use the Delete button on any section to remove it from that hub.
Why would you want to customize these new hubs?
You may want to remove data windows that are not relevant to your troop. For example, if your troop does not support the Sea Scout program, you may want to delete that section from the My Stuff Hub for scouts.
Troops that do not use multiple personal subaccounts may want to replace the widgets that display primary and reserve account balances with the simpler versions that simply show one balance for each member.
Keep in mind that, when members of your troop view a hub, they will only see those elements for which they are authorized. So, for example, if they are not authorized to subscribe to the calendar, they won't see that option on the "Other Stuff" menu.
So it is not necessary to remove items from the hub just because some users shouldn't see them; they won't be allowed to view information they are not authorized for.
These new widgets can be added to other custom pages, including your Home page. This makes it possible to reimagine your Home page in new and exciting ways.
You can add any data window or menu widget to your Home page, knowing that they will only be displayed once a user has logged on, and then only if they are authorized to view the information in that widget.
Other sections can be configured to only display when the visitor is NOT logged on, so they are only visible to the public.
This allows you to create public and private versions of your Home page, which can be completely different!
Your public Home page can be targeted to the families of prospective new scouts, while the private Home page can be personalized to that user by adding these new widgets!
There is one other new widget we haven't mentioned yet, that you should definitely consider for your Home page: the Hubs menu. This menu has links that take you directly to all of the hubs for which you are authorized. (Hubs for which you are not authorized will not appear on the menu.)

You can safely add this to your Home page, knowing that it will only be displayed after a user logs on. It is the very first option on the drop down list for widgets - you can't miss it!
We were recently informed that PayPal is dropping support for its "PayPal Here" app effective April 3, 2023. We assume this means the app will no longer function after that date.
This affects the TroopWebHost Booth Sales function. It allowed you to accept payment via credit card or PayPal account during in-person fundraiser sales.
Fortunately, there is another option! The Square POS app works great with Booth Sales and is our only credit/debit card payment option for Payment Collector, which is a great way to accept in-person payments into member accounts when you are at troop meetings.
Of course, PayPal is still available for on-line payments in TroopWebHost. We have no plans to discontinue support for PayPal.
