The legacy security tasks have been retired and replaced with a set of more granular tasks.
New security tasks were created to authorize more specific sets of activities.
It is much easier to limit access to everyone's contact information.
You can now remove unused buttons from the My Scouts page.
This Month We Salute
Pack 203 of Lake Oswego, Oregon
At first we wondered why Pack 203 hadn't uploaded their top image as a banner image.
Then we discovered the menu that they built into the image, which they then placed at the top of all of their custom pages.
Click on any of the items to reveal a sub-menu. Some of the menus are intended for users who have logged on, giving them quick access to the functions they're likely to need.
Even more impressive - the menu reduces to an icon in a narrow window - like a cell phone - which then expands to a full vertical menu when you tap on it!
Of course, there is much more to Pack 203's site than a fancy menu. The "Join Pack 203!" page pulls in new members and the "New Scout Checklist"
gives them step-by-step instructions for becoming an active scout.
There are several pages that show how to use the site to accomplish important functions, like making on-line payments.
Someone clearly put a lot of thought into this!
Congratulations, Pack 203 of Lake Oswego, Oregon!
