Dedicated E-Mail Server

We recently acquired our own dedicated e-mail server. This made possible many improvements:
  • Unlimited number of e-mails with unlimited number of recipients.
  • No limits on size of attachment, which will be included as a link within your e-mail body.
  • All messages are from TroopMail@TroopWebHost.net to reduce spam blocking.
  • The sender's name, e-mail address and troop name appear at the footing of each message.
And remember, each troop member may now have two e-mail addresses on file, plus one SMS text messaging address.

Requirements Earned At Event

When you plan an event, you've always been able to create a list of what rank and merit badge requirements could be earned at that event.

You can also record which scouts attended the event.

This should make it very easy to record which scouts earned those requirements. And now you can!

Go to Advancement --> Requirements Earned At Event to select a recent event at which requirements could be earned.

You will then be able to go through each requirement and indicate which scouts earned it.

Add Event At New Location

Over time you will find that your troop visits many of the same locations year after year.

That is why we allow you to create locations separate from events. You can provide lots of information about each location that can be referenced every time you go there.

However, when you schedule an event at a new location, you have to enter the location before you can create the event.

There is a new button on the Add & Update Events page that makes this much easier.

Click on Add Event At New Location to begin a sequence that lets you add a location and then add an event at that location.
Thank you for your support!
