Upload Adult Leaders
TroopMaster appears to store information about adult leaders separately from information about parents - even if they are the same person.
Our Upload Scouts function uploads the parent information, but now we have the option to upload the adult leader information.
Select Administration --> Upload Adult Leaders From TroopMaster to begin.
If we can't match the first and last name exactly with a record on file, we will add a new record and create a User ID and password.
If you check the Update Existing Records box, we will update matching records with the latest data from TroopMaster.
The Trial Run option lets you see which records will be added, and which will be updated, before you actually upload the data.

New Options for Scout Upload
We've added two new options to the Upload Scouts function:
- Update Existing Records
- Trial Run
Be aware that the update option will overwrite any information about that person with the latest data from TroopMaster.
If members of your troop have updated their contact information by going to the website, this information will be lost when you perform the upload.
We recommend always doing a trial run first, to see which records will be added.
If you've changed the exact spelling of a person's name in either system, they may no longer match.
So look closely at the trial run results before you upload for real.

New User Role: Financial Review
You can now allow some adult leaders to view financial information without being able to change it.
Simply assign those members the new Financial Review role.
They will then have access to the Money menu, where they can view:
- Individual Transactions
- Group Transactions
- Troop Accounts
- Individual Balances
- Event Balances
- Financial Reports

Troop Contact List
A new report on the Troop menu provides the essential contact information for every active member of your troop.
Go to Troop --> Troop Contact List to generate the PDF report file.
This report shows the name, address, phone numbers, and e-mail addresses for each active member.
