Everything has a name! Is that slide holding your scarf together a Toggle, Boggle, Woggle or Oggel?
. . . . . . .
It’s a WOGGLE! Woggles can be made from a variety of materials - leather, canvas, wood, duct tape – you name it. The first woggle is said to have been made by Bill Shankley and was based on the Turks Head knot.
BTW, Boggle is a word game involving lettered dice. Oggel is a brand name for a strap for swimming goggles. Toggle is a pin inserted in a nautical knot to make it more secure, and a type of switch.
