Version 1.3.8 of the TroopWebHost mobile app now supports Cub Scout advancement!
Scouts will see My Adventures on the app's opening page. From there they can find any adventure, read its requirements, and see what remains to be completed.
Parents will see My Family on the main page. This lets them view information about each member of their family, and see the progress of each of their scouts with regard to adventures and awards. If authorized by their pack, they can also sign off on adventures and awards their scouts have completed.
Leaders will be able to manage advancement for individual scouts from the Directory, and for all of the scouts attending an event from the Calendar.
Cub Scout leaders can view an in-depth demonstration in this video:
There are five new security tasks that control access to these functions in the app:
We have already authorized these tasks for the appropriate roles in all TroopWebHostCS sites, so you only need to take action if you do NOT wish to allow your pack to use these functions, or if you are not using the standard "Scout" and "Adult" user roles.
This new report is now available on Advancement Status Reports submenu. It shows the total number of merit badges earned by each scout, and the number currently in progress. It also shows the number of Eagle merit badges earned and in progress.
