The ScoutSales.org site will now use Square to accept credit card payments for fundraiser sales, if you have configured your site to accept Square. This provides a simpler way for your customers to complete their purchases, which could increase sales.
PayPal will still be displayed as a payment option, if your site is configured for PayPal. If your fundraiser allows customers to pay on delivery, that will also be offered.
The Buy Stuff From Troop page will now use Square to accept credit card mapyments, if you have configured your site to accept payments via Square.
Members will still be allowed to purchase items using funds from their account. If your site is configured for PayPal, that option will also be available.
We recently learned that the JTE Advancement objective - Objective #5 - should include rank advancement for scouts who aged out during the year, even though they are not counted in the total number of scouts in the troop when computing the percentage who advanced. You will see the effect of this change if you recompute the JTE statistics.
We also corrected an error on the Retention objective - Objective #3 - which could have caused some scouts to be counted more than once.
